Homeostatic and hedonic processes regulate food intake. Within this context, the contribution of impulsivity, the shift from goal-directed to habitual behaviours, and the role of Pavlovian-to-Instrumental transfer (PIT) will be investigated by a neuroimaging approach with specific emphasis on connectivity analyses. This project will thus address particularly those processes which render ingestive behaviors resistant to change in spite of being inadequate.
